These stories represent different stages in my writing life. They were published on the web, some also in print, since about 1995. Some websites have died, many are still around. I'd like to mention them, and some of the print mags which tried to stay afloat, in no particular order, to thank people ready to take risks in their labours of love for writing and writers.

My thanks also go to my e- and podpublisher, IUMIX (UK), who took several of these stories for my collection, The Past Present, published in 2001.

Although out of print, The Past Present is still available at Amazon and EBooksOnThe.Net, according to their listings.

A number of stories have been removed as they will be included in my collection, Backburning, which won the prize for Best Fiction at Interactive Publications' IP Picks 2007 and will be published in Australia in November 2007.

"An Imaginary Friend" can now be viewed at Scribd.
It was first published in THEMA in 1997 and included in my collection, The Past Present.

I'm very proud that Channelling Blues will be included in 100 Stories for Haiti.
